Early Years Practitioner - Rothwell (LS26)


Pay:

Competitive, based on qualification and experience

Hours:

Full-time with a fixed day off each week, or flexible Bank Team hours available

Location:

Rothwell, Leeds (LS26) - just 4 minutes from M1 J47

Parking:

Free onsite, with excellent public transport links

Qualifications:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years preferred. Level 2 or those working towards Level 3 will also be considered.
We're also open to welcoming unqualified applicants for our flexible Bank Team, where full training and support will be provided.

We're now looking for caring, enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join our friendly Rothwell team. Whether you're experienced, newly qualified, or just beginning your Early Years career, you'll be supported every step of the way.

You'll play a key role in helping children explore, learn, and flourish -- creating inspiring learning opportunities, supporting routines, and building trusted relationships with families.

Responsibilities



Create engaging, play-based learning experiences for children aged 0-5 Support each child's unique learning journey and milestones Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment Collaborate with parents and carers to support development Observe and record progress in line with the EYFS Safeguard every child and promote their wellbeing Work closely with your team to ensure smooth daily operations Take part in regular training and professional development

Requirements



Level 3 qualification in Early Years (preferred) Level 2 or working towards Level 3 also considered Previous nursery or childcare experience (preferred, not essential) Knowledge of the EYFS and child development Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability A genuine passion for helping children grow and thrive Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
