Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursery and early childhood education, with the ability to create a stimulating and safe environment for children. This role is crucial in fostering the development of young minds and ensuring that each child receives the care and attention they need to thrive.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues in English. Manage classroom behaviour through positive reinforcement and effective leadership techniques. Drive initiatives that enhance the educational experience for children in your care. Collaborate with other educators to develop a cohesive curriculum that meets the needs of all learners. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare. Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Leadership qualities with the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively. A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing to their development. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
