We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
Foster a safe and welcoming environment where children feel secure and valued
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of development milestones
Support children's individual needs through personalised care plans
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality childcare
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and well-being
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
Support the management team in organising educational resources and activities
Skills
Proven experience with children, preferably within nursery or early childhood education settings
Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage positively with children, parents, and colleagues
Knowledge of childcare regulations, early childhood development principles, and best practices in nursery education
Ability to demonstrate patience, creativity, and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Organised with good time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently
Driving licence is desirable for roles involving transportation or outings with children
