This role offers an exciting opportunity to support young children's learning, wellbeing, and development while gaining valuable skills, experience, and recognised qualifications. You'll play a vital part in helping children learn through play, creativity, and exploration in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support practitioners in delivering engaging, inclusive early years activities
Encourage children's development through play, communication, and positive interaction
Assist with planning and delivering creative and curriculum-based learning experiences
Promote safeguarding, health, safety, and wellbeing at all times
Support children with additional needs (SEND), under the guidance of senior staff
Help maintain a caring, safe, and stimulating environment
Observe and record children's progress and contribute to their learning journey
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team to deliver high-quality care and education

Qualifications and Progression
As part of this role, you'll have the opportunity to gain valuable, nationally recognised qualifications, including:
Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (Ofsted/EYFS requirement)
Level 3 Award in Learning Beyond the Classroom
Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People
You'll also have a direct progression route to an Accelerated Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship, allowing you to fast-track your development by up to 3 months and move quickly into a higher-level role.
