Job Description

Eligible candidates must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Qualification in Early Years/or the equivalent of. Full training will be provided. There is a 300 bonus to be paid on successful completion of the six month probationary period.

We are looking for people who are bubbly, fun and willing to work hard to help us support our little ones early development. Daisy Chain has a fantastic reputation and works hard to be one of the best nurseries for our children.

Full time available or Mon - Thursday 8:00am - 18:00pm

We are looking for some special people to join our team so if the below sounds like you get in touch:

- You must have a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special

- You must be able to laugh at jokes you don't understand or didn't find funny

- You will preferably have a bit of quirkiness

- If a child requests that you be the captain of a pirate ship you will be the best captain, you can be

- You must be able to distribute warm hugs as required

- Possessing the skills required to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people is of the utmost importance

- Must be comfortable working with a variety of substances on your clothing

- Pretending to eat playdough creations realistically is required

- And of course, drinking numerous cups of pretend tea

- You must have the ability to read a 10-page fairy tale upside down with at least 4 interruptions per page 17 times per day

- You must be prepared to have lots of fun in the work place, laughter is something you can expect to engage in for a large part of your day

- Wellington boots will be a must for splashing in muddy puddles

- You must be able to successfully disguise children's learning though play always

- Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and families.

Experience of working with children ages 0-5 years is essential alongside a Level 3 childcare qualification.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check or Update service check and 2 suitable references being obtained before employment.
