Seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join my team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children within a nurturing and stimulating environment. Duties
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards
Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through caring and attentive interactions
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment conducive to learning and exploration
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
Observe and record children's progress, behaviour, and milestones to inform future planning
Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes, nap times, and outdoor play
Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of childcare are consistently met
Contribute to the organisation of educational programmes and activities that support individual needs
Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures at all times to ensure the safety of children
Requirements
Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting
Strong management and leadership skills to oversee daily activities effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative
Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or resources when necessary
Childcare qualifications or relevant early childhood education certifications are preferred but not essential
A caring, patient, and nurturing attitude towards young children
