Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting our children's development and learning, creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through personalised care and interaction Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment in accordance with health and safety regulations Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues Collaborate with team members to develop curriculum plans that promote early learning standards Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes, nappy changes, and rest periods Foster positive behaviour through effective communication and guidance strategies Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development programmes Drive company vehicles when required for outings or errands related to childcare activities

Requirements

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting (preferred) Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members Demonstrated management or leadership capabilities within a childcare environment Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or materials as needed Organised, proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred but not essential for all roles Passionate about early childhood development and committed to creating a nurturing environment for our little ones.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: 13.21-13.80 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
