Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our Pre-school team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children including a strong understanding of the EYFs and the principles within it. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development of children from nursery age through their formative years. The Early Years Educator will play a crucial role in supporting children's learning, growth, and well-being.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of each child. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers as necessary. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships. Manage daily activities within the nursery setting, ensuring that all health and safety standards are met. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education. Collaborate with other educators to share ideas and strategies for enhancing the learning experience.

Skills

Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and fellow educators. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children and families. Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. A drive for continuous professional development and improvement in educational practices.
