Key Responsibilities
Support practitioners in delivering engaging, inclusive activities
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to children
Assist with planning and delivering play-based learning sessions
Promote safeguarding, health, and wellbeing at all times
Support children with additional needs under the guidance of senior staff
Help maintain a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment
Observe and record children's progress and development
Contribute to implementing nursery policies on safeguarding, equality, and health & safety
Essential Skills and Knowledge
Experience supporting children in a nursery, preschool, or primary school
Understanding of early childhood development and positive behaviour management
Awareness of safeguarding, Prevent Duty, and online safety
Ability to support children with a range of learning and developmental needs
Knowledge of EYFS standards and early years health and safety procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong teamwork, organisation, and time management
Caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
Desirable Qualifications
Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or related subject (or willingness to work towards one)
Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete training)
