We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children. Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development
Support children's emotional, social, and physical well-being through attentive care and guidance
Observe and assess individual children's progress, maintaining detailed records for planning future activities
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
Ensure the safety and security of all children by adhering to health and safety policies and procedures
Manage behaviour constructively, promoting good manners, respect, and cooperation among children
Organise provocations to encourage social interaction and skill development
Contribute to the organisation of outings or trips that enrich the children's learning experiences
Maintain a clean, organised environment that meets regulatory standards for childcare settings
Requirements
Expectation to work 8am-5pm and 9am-6pm on rotation OR four days 8am-6pm and Wednesday 8am-12
Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting desirable
Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members effectively is an advantage
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are required
Ability to work flexibly within scheduled hours while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm
