32.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am 3.30pm, term time only

Contract:

Fixed term for 1 year to cover maternity leave

Start date:

3rd February 2026



Vale View Primary School currently has an exciting vacancy for an effective full time Early Years Educator (Level 3) to cover a maternity leave. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an early year's setting and hold a relevant early year's level 3 qualification. You will work with our caring and dedicated team to support children's early learning and development by providing high quality learning opportunities and care. The post will be fixed term to cover a maternity leave.

About you:



You will hold a relevant Level 3 Early Year's qualification

You will have successful experience of working in an early year's setting

You will have a good working knowledge of the EYFS framework and be able to put the principles into practice

You will have knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and have experience of working to support children who have special educational needs

You will have excellent literacy (Level 2 qualification), numeracy and IT skills

You will be committed, motivated, enthusiastic and flexible

You will enjoy working as part of a team

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in partnership with parents, staff and outside agencies

You will have a sound knowledge of safeguarding
