We are a small 'home from home' nursery in Thornton-Cleveleys.

Job description

We are looking for a fun, motivated and enthusiastic practitioner with lots of energy who can offer various skills to our already experienced team. A sensitive, child centred approach with a strong knowledge of child development 0-5 years and the EYFS is essential. Additional skills will be supported. A creative practitioner with a love of the outdoors would enjoy this position.

Candidates should have

Ideally Level 3 qualification, Early Years/ Childhood studies Degree or equivalent and ideally have at least 1 years' current experience of working within a day nursery. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Experience working within a nursery or educational setting Paediatrics First Aid Training
Candidates must be able to carry out children's observations, assessments and planning to a very high standard and possess a good working knowledge of the EYFS framework. A good knowledge of behaviour management and SEND would also be a distinct advantage although not essential.

Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special, and important to many young children and their families. There is simply no other job quite like this one.
