Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing the potential of young children in a safe and stimulating environment. You will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children aged 0-5 years.

Duties

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that encourage exploration and learning. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational programme that meets the needs of all children. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times. Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a conducive learning environment. Provide support during meal times and assist with personal care routines as needed.

Skills

Strong management and leadership skills to guide a team effectively. Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, particularly in English, to engage with children, parents, and staff. Ability to drive may be advantageous for transportation purposes related to educational outings or activities. A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within the classroom setting.
