We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in their early years. You will play a crucial role in supporting their learning and growth through engaging activities and effective communication with both children and parents.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that foster children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative programmes that meet the needs of all children in your care.
Maintain accurate records of children's achievements and progress in line with regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, building strong relationships to support children's learning at home.
Manage classroom behaviour by implementing positive discipline strategies.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.
Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for childcare, with the ability to create engaging learning experiences for young children.
Driving licence preferred for transportation purposes related to outings or activities outside the nursery setting.
