Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children aged 0-5 years. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in supporting children's learning, fostering their social skills, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of each child.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and carers.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive approach to early years education.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and activities.
Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent).
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is essential.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Experience in childcare practices that promote child development is highly desirable.
