As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering the development and well-being of young children in our care. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning through play and exploration. This position requires a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting each child's individual needs.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and daily activities. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team approach to early years education. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery setting, ensuring all health and safety regulations are met. Support children during mealtimes and assist with personal care as needed.

Skills

Strong management and leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and staff. Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A valid driving licence is beneficial for potential outings or transport needs. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and creativity in engaging young learners.
