We are looking to recruit a fantastic room leader for our lovely, nurturing, and caring babyroom.

Overview

The Baby Room Leader will oversee the day-to-day running of the baby room, ensuring the highest standards of care and early years education for children aged 0-2 years. This is a key role in creating a positive first impression for new families joining the nursery, so attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and induct all new parents and children entering the setting, ensuring a smooth and reassuring transition. Lead a small team in the baby room, managing up to six children at any one time. Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports each child's individual development. Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and daily routines. Build and sustain positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback and progress updates. Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies. Support staff training and professional development within the room.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education. At least 2 years' experience in a nursery or early years setting. Demonstrable leadership experience or readiness to take on a supervisory role. Strong communication and organisational skills. Understanding of the EYFS and commitment to high-quality childcare standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1-24 months

Pay: 18,500.00-30,000.00 per year
