About the role
The role is designed to:
Support the expansion and sustainability of funded early education entitlements.
Collaborate with Private, Voluntary, and Independent (PVI) providers, childminders, schools (including academies), and out-of-school settings to ensure statutory compliance with early education funding.
Assist in monitoring providers to meet the Council's statutory duties under national early years guidance (Gov.uk). - https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-education-and-childcare-2
You'll work countywide as part of a dedicated team, supporting the Strategy Manager and other Council teams to deliver high-quality early years provision.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will engage with current and prospective early years and childcare providers, as well as parents/carers, to support the delivery of funded places.
Provide direct advice and support on funding entitlements, including managing claims, payments, and enquiries.
Contribute to the development of new initiatives and solutions to improve service delivery.
