About the Role:
As an Early Years HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting high-quality learning and development within our Nursery and Reception classes. Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you will lead learning activities, support individual and group development, and contribute to a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff
Support the development of children's language, literacy, and early numeracy skills
Assist with assessment and observation to support children's learning journeys
Foster a safe, stimulating, and caring learning environment
Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies where appropriate
What We're Looking For:
HLTA status (or equivalent Level 4 qualification) with experience in Early Years
A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A warm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young children
A commitment to promoting inclusion and safeguarding
