We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Inclusion Support Officer to work alongside the Area SENCO's to identify and deliver inclusion and early intervention strategies and activities in early years settings across the city.
As well as a high level of motivation and energy, it is essential that you:
Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years and Childcare or equivalent.
Have had experience of supporting vulnerable children with a wide range of additional needs in an early years setting as a SENCO.
Have a sound and secure knowledge of the EYFS, SEND Code of Practice and principles of child development.
As the post involves liaison with other organisations, services, and sensitive face to face contact with parents and carers, good verbal and written skills are also essential.
You must be able to work as part of a team but be an effective and organised time manager.
