We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Early Years IQA (Internal Quality Assurer) for Level 2 Early Years Course to join our dynamic education team. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough internal assessments of early years practitioners' delivery to ensure adherence to curriculum standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop, implement, and review quality assurance policies and procedures tailored to early childhood education settings.
Provide constructive feedback and coaching to educators to enhance teaching practices, ensuring high-quality learning environments.
Monitor compliance with national frameworks, safeguarding protocols, health and safety regulations, and other statutory guidelines.
Lead regular quality audits, observations, and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and celebrate best practices.
Support staff in preparing for external inspections by maintaining accurate documentation and evidence of quality standards.
Facilitate professional development sessions focused on quality improvement strategies and curriculum delivery.
Maintain detailed records of assessments, observations, and quality assurance activities to ensure transparency and accountability.
Take part and lead the EQA meetings.
Experience
Proven experience working within early years education settings, ideally with a background in delivering or assessing early childhood programs.
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework or relevant national curriculum standards.
Previous experience as an IQA or in a quality assurance role within education or childcare environments is highly desirable.
Excellent observational skills with the ability to evaluate teaching practices objectively and provide actionable feedback.
Knowledge of safeguarding policies, health & safety regulations, and compliance requirements specific to early years settings.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Relevant qualifications such as Level 3 or higher in Early Years Education, Teaching Qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3/4), or equivalent are essential; additional IQA certifications are advantageous.
