Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Twizzle Tops Day Nurseries in South Woodham Ferrers. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our children receive nutritious meals are severed correctly.

Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals for children. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times. Support the kitchen team in daily operations and food service. Help with inventory management of kitchen supplies. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas. Collaborate with staff to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences. Engage with children during meal times to promote healthy eating habits.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is essential. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices. knowledge of allergies and intolerances Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good communication skills, especially when interacting with children. Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and dietary needs.
