Kamelia Kids is a not-for-profit charity with an inclusive environment for all children including those with SEND. We are passionate about offering a nurturing, caring, and stimulating learning experiences, with a particular focus on outdoor learning. We have four rooms, each with their own garden and three sensory rooms. In addition, we have a Community Garden, Sensory Wellbeing Garden and Wildlife and Beach Garden, plus our own beach hut on Goring Beach and Beach School trained staff.
Kamelia Kids is recruiting a part time Lead Educator. (job Share). The Early Years Lead Educator is a qualified childcare professional who has responsibility for the day-to-day running of their room and the supervision of staff within it. You could be a current Lead Educator or a Senior Educator looking for that next step in your career. They perform an important role in leading, training and developing staff, imparting their excellent childcare knowledge and skills to other team members while creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for the children in their care.
The hours are 8am-6pm 3 days per week.
A clear DBS check and 2 references are required by Ofsted before any appointment can be confirmed.
Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
- Working with and overseeing your team to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities .
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Provide individualised care and support for children with SEND.
- Work in partnership with parents and carers, providing open communication.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children .
Requirements:
- Level 3/4/5 early years qualification or a Degree in Early Childhood Education/ Early Years Teacher/ Qualified Teacher Status.
-Experience of managing and leading a small team
- Good knowledge of child development.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- A love for working with young children and having FUN!.
