We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Practitioner to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of children. As a Lead Practitioner, you will be responsible for leading a team of practitioners, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained within our nursery setting. Your expertise in early childhood education and management will be essential in fostering a nurturing environment that promotes children's development and well-being.

Duties



Lead and support a team of practitioners in delivering high-quality childcare and early years education. Develop and implement engaging learning programmes that cater to the individual needs of children. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a supportive community. Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting professional development and best practices. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.

Requirements



Strong background in early childhood education with relevant qualifications. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is essential. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive is advantageous for potential off-site activities or training sessions. A commitment to safeguarding children's welfare and promoting their development. A positive attitude, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
