Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Practitioner to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering their development. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a passion for early childhood education and be experienced in the care and education of under 2's.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care and education. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the diverse needs of children. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, promoting effective communication. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in childcare settings. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt programmes accordingly. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Collaborate with external agencies when necessary to support children's individual needs.

Qualifications

Proven experience in management or leadership roles within a childcare setting. Strong background in early childhood education, with relevant qualifications. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive is preferred for transporting children or materials as required. A genuine passion for nurturing children's development and well-being. Knowledge of current legislation and best practices in childcare is advantageous.
