Early Years Lead Practitioner
Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Lead Practitioner to work 35 hours per week in our baby room (0-2); the position is permanent and will include a six month probationary period.
Applicants must have proven experience of leading the delivery of childcare and play opportunities to children age 0-5 years along with a relevant qualification to a minimum level 3. Proven experience of managing a team of at least three people is desirable. A sound knowledge of EYFS is essential.
This position is all year round (not term time). Working hours will vary between the opening hours of 7:45am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
The rate of pay is 13.10 per hour.

Trenance Childcare provides high quality care and education at affordable prices for families in Newquay and the surrounding areas. We are a registered Charity and run by a Committee of volunteers.
We provide full day care from birth to 5 years and are open all year round. We have 3 well equipped rooms catering specifically for babies (0-2 years), toddlers (2-3 years) and pre-schoolers (3-4 years).
