Our nursery setting is for children between the ages of 0-4 years old. We want to recruit an experienced Early Years Nursery Practitioner to take on the lead role for the delivery of the curriculum, routine and planning and to ensuring teaching practice is developed to an outstanding level across our large nursery. The role:
Lead the whole nursery curriculum
Lead the planning and delivery of high-quality play and development experiences
Supervise Early Years staff in their delivery of play and development opportunities
Ensure appropriate records are kept, in particular with SEND children
Ensure accurate observations and assessments are regularly carried out for all children
Ensure accurate development reports are completed for all children
Lead with key transitions for children
Maintain a high-quality enabling environment both indoors and outdoors
Could this be you?
Minimum appropriate level 3 childcare qualification, but preferably degree trained
Minimum of 2 years previous leadership experience in a nursery setting
In depth knowledge and experience of the EYFS, areas of development and SEND
Paediatric First Aid
Safeguarding of Children
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Experience delivering training to childcare practitioners
