Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for individuals eager to learn and grow within the field of childcare and early childhood education. The Apprentice will gain hands-on experience while working closely with experienced professionals, contributing to the development and care of children in a nursery setting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build foundational skills in leadership, communication, and management within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in a nursery setting. Support the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote early childhood development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a positive experience for all. Manage classroom behaviour and foster a safe, nurturing environment for children. Drive initiatives that encourage participation and learning among children. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space. Collaborate with senior staff to develop leadership skills and gain insights into effective childcare practices.

Qualifications

A genuine interest in working with children, preferably with some experience in childcare or early childhood education. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities while managing group dynamics effectively. Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is advantageous but not essential. A proactive approach to learning and personal development within the field of childcare.

Please note Training will be completed before starting the apprenticeship if you do not hold a Level 2 Diploma in Early Years
