Key Responsibilities



Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery room or setting in line with EYFS standards and Ofsted requirements. Lead and support a team of Early Years Educators to deliver outstanding learning and care experiences. Monitor children's development and ensure high-quality observation, planning, and assessment systems are in place. Support staff training, performance, and wellbeing to foster a positive team environment. Maintain compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and other regulatory standards. Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external agencies. Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement within the setting.

What We're Looking For



A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification (mandatory).

A strong passion for early years education and child development. Proven experience working in an early years setting. A clear desire to step into or develop a leadership role. Excellent communication, team leadership, and organisational skills. Reliability, initiative, and a commitment to professional development. Driving experience is beneficial for off-site activities and setting logistics.
