We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our Early Years Nursery team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting the management team to deliver high-quality care services, ensuring the well-being and safety of children.
Responsibilities
Support the nursery manager in the overall management of the day to day operations, with regulatory standards and company policies.
Acting as designated member of staff in charge in the manager's absence
Supporting staff in room whilst undertaking day to day tasks as a room lead of the room also (will be required to be in ratio throughout the week)
Ensuing high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and EYFS standards are consistently met
Liaise effectively with professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
Contribute to staff training
Building strong, positive relationships with families and external agencies
Leading and mentoring staff across base rooms to deliver outstanding education
Any other necessary roles given by management
W
hat we're looking for:
Level 3 qualification in childcare
Enhanced DBS
Level 3 first aid qualification
Level 3 safeguarding
Past experience in room lead role (Desirable)
At least 2 years post-qualifying experience in early years
Proven leadership or supervisory experience
Strong communciation, organisational and safeguarding knowledge

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
