Job Description

Auchangatt and District Pre-school Center (ADPC) are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated nursery practitioner to join our rural early years setting, where we aim to ensure an inclusive and nurturing learning environment for 2-5 year olds.

As part of a small team of practitioners, you will contribute to the planning of activities to support the development and growth of our children, constantly looking for new and exciting ways to engage children in learning. We believe in a children led approach, and thrive on listening to the ideas and interest of the children to guide creative learning opportunities within the setting.

Our ideal candidate will be experienced in all aspects of childcare and be qualified to SVQ 3 or HNC Early learning and childcare or equivalent and have a willingness to train in accordance with SSSC requirements.

We will be looking for candidates with strong communication skills, both verbal and written, who will be able to keep parents/carers up to date with all relevant information about their child's time at the setting. Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting, ensuring their safety and well-being and to collaborate with team members to create a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere.

This is a Zero hour contract, days are to be agreed at interview, Term Time only.

Pay: From 12.00 per hour
