Early Years Practitioner

to join our friendly team on a

temporary basis

during the

summer holidays

. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified practitioner who enjoys working with young children and is seeking flexible, short-term work in a warm and supportive environment.

As part of our casual cover team, you will support children aged

0-5 years

, helping to provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years Support the day-to-day running of the room and nursery routines Maintain a safe, clean and inclusive environment Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework Observe and assess children's development and contribute to planning

Requirements:

Minimum Level 3 qualification

in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent)

Essential

: Experience working with children aged 0-5 years Excellent understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to adapt quickly and support different age groups as needed

27 hours per week across 3 days (Monday-Friday rota, 8:30am - 5:30pm)
