Job Summary


The Performing Arts Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the development and execution of engaging arts programmes for children. This position requires a dynamic individual who can manage various activities, inspire creativity, and foster a love for the performing arts among young participants. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare or early childhood education, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Duties



Develop and implement performing arts programmes tailored for children, ensuring they are both educational and entertaining. Oversee daily operations of the arts programmes, including scheduling, resource allocation, and participant engagement. Provide leadership and guidance to staff and volunteers involved in the programmes. Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, promoting teamwork and collaboration. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and community members regarding programme details and participant progress. Collaborate with local schools and organisations to enhance programme visibility and participation. Maintain accurate records of attendance, feedback, and programme outcomes to assess effectiveness and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within all activities.

Skills



Proven management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. Strong leadership qualities that inspire confidence in both staff and participants. Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare or nursery setting. Background in early childhood education is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between locations as needed. Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.5 per week
