Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development across various domains.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues in English to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children's needs are met in a timely manner.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development.
Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery environment and promote best practices in early years education.
Exhibit leadership qualities by mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised nursery space that meets health and safety standards.
Requirements
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience working with children is essential.
Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and families.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment.
A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development through play-based learning.
Leadership skills to inspire teamwork and foster an inclusive atmosphere within the nursery.
