We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children aged 2 years. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding both children and fellow staff members, ensuring that every child receives the highest standard of care and education.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of each child. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children in your care. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's development. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education within the nursery setting. Manage daily routines, including meal times, play activities, and rest periods, ensuring children's needs are met at all times. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.

Skills

Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate both children and team members. Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour under pressure. A genuine drive to support children's learning and development through play-based activities. Familiarity with nursery settings and the ability to create an engaging learning environment for young children.
