Early Years Assistant

Hours on offer:

35 hours over 4 days

We are looking for level 3 qualified practitioners or above with a provisional start date of January, however this can be flexible for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be based in one of our rooms working alongside our existing team members. They will receive on the job training and shadow a qualified member of staff to get a feeling for their role.

A little bit about Country Tots Childcare...

Our setting is a homely environment situated on a farm in Ireleth, just outside of Askam - In - Furness who care for children from 9 months - 5 years old all year round.

We provide a unique opportunity for children to be nurtured and grow, spending as much time outdoors as possible gaining hands on experience where they can and taking a lead role in caring for our animals.

Requirements:

- Level 3 NVQ/equivalent or higher in childcare is required

-Must be able to drive or have a reliable lift to and from work

- Must be passionate about childcare and believe children learn best through play and their own interests

-A love for the outdoors and prepared to be out in all weather conditions

- A love for animals and prepared to be working closely with a variety of different breeds

- A excellent understanding of safeguarding and maintaining the highest standard of care

- At least 1 year experience within a childcare setting is required ( This can be your time spent as an apprentice, gaining your qualification)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00 per hour
