You will be part of a staff and volunteer team that will plan and deliver sessions in our OFSTED registered Woodland Preschool for children aged 2 to 5, providing opportunities for children to realise their full potential, to learn new skills, develop confidence and a positive self-image. The Preschool is based in the woodland and the children are outside all the time, in all weathers; there is indoor space available should they wish to use it -most don't
!
All activities are run in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage and focus on the individual interests of the children and their environment. At our Preschool, it is our aim to assist children to develop their emotional, social, and communicative skills as well as academic skills such as pre-reading, pre-writing, counting, size and shape recognition, and problem solving.
We promote creative skills including music and art, and physical skills to improve their balance, movement, and awareness of the world around them. Our After School Clubs provide lots of fun and engaging activities for children to take part in after their school day
