Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of children in our care. You will play a key role in supporting their learning journey, ensuring they thrive both socially and academically.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary. Manage classroom behaviour positively, promoting respect and cooperation among children. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care. Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities.

Skills

Level 3 Early years qualification is essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Experience working in a nursery or similar childcare setting is highly desirable. A solid understanding of the EYFS and practices. Ability to manage groups of children effectively while fostering a positive learning environment. Leadership qualities to guide and inspire both children and fellow staff members. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development through play-based learning.
