Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for children
Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records
Work in partnership with parents, carers, and other team members
Contribute to the setup, design, and organisation of new rooms and learning areas
Support the nursery's vision and journey with The Curiosity Approach
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS statutory frameworks
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing in all children
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential:
A minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare or equivalent
Experience working in an early years setting
Good knowledge of the EYFS and child development
A genuine passion for early childhood education
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliability, flexibility, and a can-do attitude
Desirable:
Experience with or knowledge of The Curiosity Approach
Paediatric First Aid qualification
Safeguarding training
Experience in setting up or designing learning environments
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.40-12.75 per hour
