Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team working in our baby room. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Ideally we are looking for someone with a background in early childhood education and childcare to make a positive impact on children's lives

Duties

Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Supervise babies during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times Foster a warm and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and learning Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines work with colleagues to develop programmes that meet individual children's needs Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's development and behaviour Support the organisation of nursery routines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

Ideally Experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting is essential Ideally Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare practices Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ideally Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively A caring attitude with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 13.00 per hour
