Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine drive to nurture and support the development of young children. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children in our nursery, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play. Observe and assess children's progress, ensuring individual needs are met. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships. Manage classroom behaviour positively, fostering a respectful and supportive atmosphere. Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other educators to develop a cohesive curriculum that aligns with early years standards. Provide leadership within the team, mentoring less experienced staff as needed.

Requirements

A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to inspire young learners. Leadership qualities that enable you to guide and support your colleagues effectively.
