Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and play. Your expertise in early childhood education will be essential in guiding children's learning and ensuring their well-being.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Manage daily routines and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support the children's learning journey. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary. Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across the nursery. Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the learning environment. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.

Requirements

A level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education in childcare is essential. Proven experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a classroom effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. A commitment to ongoing professional development in early years education.
