We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. Responsibilities
Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
Support children during meal times, ensuring adherence to food safety standards while assisting with food preparation as needed.
Encourage positive behaviour and social skills among children through guidance and support.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a well-organised classroom environment, including managing resources and materials efficiently.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in early years education.
Qualifications
A relevant qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare is essential.
Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is advantageous.
Knowledge of food safety practices related to food preparation is desirable.
Basic maths skills for managing daily tasks related to children's activities are beneficial.
Culinary skills may be an asset when assisting with meal preparation for children.
Strong time management abilities to effectively balance multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
