Job Summary


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and have experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of young children through play-based learning. The Early Years Educator will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education.

Duties



Develop and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development. Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive team environment that promotes best practices in early years education. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times. Utilise strong communication skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education.

Experience



Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and parents. A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or outings.
