Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years. Foster a positive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's learning journeys. Manage scaffolded leaning activities, ensuring that all children are included and engaged in learning experiences. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of early years education. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education trends and practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate both children and colleagues. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding their developmental needs. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere. Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience are highly desirable. A proactive drive to create enriching experiences for children in your care.
