At Dingley's Promise Bournemouth, we provide a safe, nurturing, and play-based environment for children aged 0-5 with SEND. We also offer vital support to families and guidance to mainstream early years settings, helping create more inclusive communities.
About Us
Since 1983, Dingley's Promise has been transforming the lives of young children with SEND. We operate five specialist early years centres across the UK. Each setting offers term-time nursery sessions from 9:15am to 2:45pm, with staff working 9:00am-3:00pm to allow for preparation and wrap-up.
Your Role
As an
Early Years Practitioner
, you'll be part of a supportive, passionate team committed to delivering inclusive, high-quality early education. Reporting to the Centre Manager and Deputy Manager, you'll play a key role in meeting each child's individual needs through tailored learning and care.
Key Responsibilities
Develop trusting relationships with families and support them in feeling confident and involved in their child's learning journey.
Act as a Key Person for designated children--planning and delivering individualised, play-based learning informed by observations and assessments.
Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure holistic, child-centered care.
Contribute to daily operations, planning, and ongoing development of the centre.
What We're Looking For
A deep commitment to early years education and SEND inclusion.
Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in early years or nursery settings (SEND experience is highly valued).
A proactive, child-centered approach to inclusive practice.
