Nursery is like a second home to our children and you will help to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere

We are looking for enthusiastic, positive and experienced Nursery Practitioners qualified as a Level 2 or Level 3, who are keen to develop their career. Here at Jellytots Nursery we are dedicated in the support, development and promotion of high-quality care and education for the benefit of our children, families and community. We are committed to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily activities of children in the nursery, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. Plan and implement educational activities that promote the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support each child's individual needs. Drive initiatives that encourage creativity and exploration among children through play-based learning. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary. Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery space that reflects the values of our educational philosophy. Collaborate with other practitioners to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided.

Skills

Proven experience working with children in an early years or nursery setting. Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and team members. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for childcare and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with children and families.
