We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, fostering their development in a nurturing environment. You will play a crucial role in shaping their early experiences and ensuring they thrive both socially and academically.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of each child.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to explore and learn.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and activities.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Skills
Strong management and leadership abilities to guide a team effectively.
Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
A valid driving licence is preferred for potential off-site activities or visits.
