We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. You must hold a

SCQF level 7/ level 3

for this role. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of young learners. You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs of children in your care and engaging with children and their families.

The position is 38 hours Monday to Friday with the opportunity for term time.

Duties

Working alongside a team to plan, track and assess children and ensure progression. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that promotes learning and play for all children. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained. Positively interact with children and support them through their daily routines. Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning outcomes. Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the children's education. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood and provision of care.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable. A qualification of minimum SCQF level 7/level 3.
