Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Brough Eagles. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in nurturing and developing young children's learning and growth in a safe and stimulating environment. This position requires a strong foundation in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with children and their families. The candidate will also work within our wraparound service for 2-11 year olds.

Responsibilities

Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play. Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and carers on their progress. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education within the preschool setting. Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through positive interactions. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development in accordance with regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to children's education. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge of early childhood education practices.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A background in early childhood education or related qualifications is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
